This unique & rare French Provincial style house was built in 1936 by Frederick J. Mitchell who was born in Stratford, Ontario. The house is located large corner lot overlooking the North Saskatchewan River valley. Inspired by the rural manor homes of the 1600s, French provincial homes are characterized by: Balanced, symmetrical proportions. The roofs on French provincial homes are so steeply pitched, their beautiful slate is a large part of the homes’ curb appeal.”
