Meanwhile, increasing awareness of the value of preserving historical buildings to continue Alberta‘s legacy. In spring 2023, Aeris accommodated a technology Augmented Reality (AR) into her 20 pieces of artwork, ultimately unveiling her creative process video & research photos by simply scanning with the free downloadable app – Artivive.

Since early 2022, Aeris travelled over 3600km to research and meet up with the 10 Alberta Old Buildings’ owners, directors, curators, staff, and volunteers. Indeed, it allows her to better understand each building’s existing structure, history, and story to enrich the creation.
