3 Alberta Old Buildings Acquired by Alberta Foundation For The Arts

I’m deeply honoured to share that the Alberta Foundation for the Arts has acquired 3 of my paintings for its Permanent Collection.

These works represent the heritage of Northern, Central, and Southern Alberta—the result of a 3,000 km journey across our province to document the stories held within these historic walls.

3 Alberta Old Buildings created by Aeris Osborne were acquired by Alberta Foundation For The Arts

As a Hong Kong–born and raised artist, I have been shaped by Alberta’s landscapes and landmarks over my 18-year journey in this province. This acquisition feels like a meaningful full-circle moment—preserving the places that have helped form my identity 🍁

1) Northern Alberta –1913 Alberta Government House
2) Central Alberta – 1912 Big Valley Railway Station
3) Southern Alberta – 1901 Lake Agnes Tea House
Over the coming days, I’ll be sharing the individual stories and research behind each painting.
