The special of Alberta Old Buildings Art Exhibition
Aeris Osborne is the 2021-2022 Alberta Art Ambassador/ Artist In Residence who traveled 3000km across Alberta for her project – Alberta Old Buildings. She is the 1st visual artist who combined technology and traditional art to engage the public to connect the actual Alberta heritage buildings to her creative painting progress. Letting you travel through her art and get into Alberta’s Past, Present to Future.
What is the AR ( Augmented Reality ) effect?
Honestly, Aeris prepared this project over a year and a half, she not only turns Alberta heritage buildings into colorful impressionist-style paintings. In 2023, Aeris invented her time to use Augmented Reality technology the public can interact with all *20 pieces of artwork unfolding the artist’s painting progress & viewing each Alberta old building’s exterior to interior design and decoration. Definitely, it brings the legacy of Alberta Old Buildings to the next level.
