CBC Radio Active Jessica Ng Interview Alberta Old Buildings Exhibit
It was my pleasure to have an interview with Edmonton CBC Radio Active host Jessica Ng on Monday to talk about the Alberta Old Buildings Art Exhibition at the Kaasa (Lower) Gallery at Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium.
The interview is right before the opening event on Sept 19 (Tuesday), 2023. It is a great practice for me to organize my thoughts before the opening speech. By the way, Sept 19 is a Culture Days Celebration Artist event, The Jubilee’s Ticketmaster door will be opened at 4:30 pm. Furthermore, dance/ musical artists will perform on the main level. Around 6 pm I will have an opening speech for my Alberta Old Buildings Art Exhibition on the basement level, Kaasa Gallery. Jessica Ng is a friendly & professional CBC radio active host, her interview skills are detail-oriented, and strong observation is my 1st impression. Especially, Jessica would rather choose to experience the interview content on-site than a typical phone interview.
Interview experience
Indeed, I love her interview approach which allows me to think and act quickly, I am slightly clumsy when flip my phone to turn on the Artivive App. In total 40 minutes will be converted to 5 minutes radio air interview is not easy.
Overall, I enjoyed the opportunity to introduce my vision of the art project that not only turns heritage buildings into bold impressionist paintings but integrates technology and traditional art to unveil the artist’s creation progress. Jessica, you did a fantastic job!
