In Aug 2021, The Concordia University of Edmonton acquired the Magrath Mansion from the Braaksma family is the largest individual gift in its history. The Magrath Mansion was built by the Highlands developer, William J. Magrath in 1912. 4 large column stands out the classical revival influences in this two-and-one-half-story building situated on a large city lot overlooking the North Saskatchewan River in Edmonton’s Highlands neighborhood.
