About Highlands Holgate Residence Tudor House Painting
Beautiful 1912 Edmonton Highlands Tudor house Holgate residence painting by Aeris Osborne.
Perfect art gift for architecture and history lovers! 20 x 20 x 1.5 (inches), acrylic painting with gloss varnish.
It is one of my best paintings of the YEG Old Houses painting series, enjoys every moment to create this masterpiece without any distraction.
The Holgate Residence was built in 1912 by developer Bidwell Holgate as a home and advertisement for life in the Highlands subdivision.
The Tudor revival influences are largely viable on the exterior, and include the steeply pitched gable roofs with a deep roof overhang, grouped windows with multi-panes over single-panes, and the decorative detail of half-timbering including a decorative mock Tudor arch entryway (Credit: Edmonton Historical Board)
This one-of-a-kind custom colorful house portrait with my signature bold impressionist style.
I enjoy creating a unique, vibrant, character lovely house painting with gardens, especially historical house architecture. Transforming a living house be a new art form to generation.
