2 pieces of my paintings: Sunset in Winter & Fairmont Hot Springs participated in the Kaleido Festival Gallery 2020 at Carrot Community Arts Coffeehouse (9351 – 118 Ave) Tuesday, September 1st thru Sunday, September 27th.
Sunset in Winter, 16 x 20 inches original acrylic painting. It is inspired by one of the Edmonton charming winter scenes.
“..God was good to make,
This December weather,
All this sky a rose-garden,
Rose and fire together.” -Katharine Tynan

“Fairmont Hot Springs“, 16 x 20 inches original acrylic painting.
It is inspired by the natural hot springs basin located nearby Fairmont Hot Springs.
Now, this natural basin is no longer exist. I was lucky enough to witness how local people enjoyed this free natural hot spring in the summertime.
Both paintings are displaying with Golden Floating Frame (Made By Douglas Fir Wood) at Kaleido Festival Gallery 2020 group art show. I will update the photo of the painting with the wood frame later.

Last Monday, it was my 1st time visit The Carrot Community Arts Coffeehouse, a cafe all runs by volunteers. It is amazing to see the vibe of the community supporting local artists and selling hearty food.
Meanwhile, I also walked around the Alberta Avenue neigbhourhood and took few charming house photos posted at my another Instagram account @yegoldhouses .
Finally, I would invite you to visit this event and support local artist.
