It is not only my 1st first teaching workshop in 2024 & the most satisfying one in years. Thank you to the Lougheed House’s Erin & Vanessa, and Centre for the Newcomers’ Boban & Jon for organizing the watercolor workshop in Calgary and trust in me in every aspect. With the generous supplies budget, I was able to buy the Winsor & Newton artist-grade watercolors and let participants enjoy the highest quality pigment to express on heavy-duty watercolor papers.
The elegant Lougheed House mansion is one of my 10 Alberta Old Buildings, it is worth driving over 300 km one way (thank you to my hubby Gary drove me there) Participants came from Uganda, Ukraine, Serbia, Iran, Philippines newcomers in Calgary. It is fantastic to use art to communicate with community members.
In 3 hrs workshop, I brought my Wonderboom to play my favorite birds and garden music to tune the relaxing and spiritual mood.

Here are the following images of those amazing participants.
