How to Prepare YEG Old Houses 1st Solo Art Exhibition

How have you been? I have been busy prepaing the YEG Old Houses 1st solo art exhibition in this late summer.

Last month, the most important part to decide the”YEG Old Houses “ exhibition tag line “Discover 11 Edmonton Historical Homes Architectural Styles” and the exhibition date and time (It is the hardest). (Thank you Arts Habitat – McLuhan House team has been on going support.)

YEG Old Houses Exhibition Date & Time

Finally I can share to public my 1st YEG Old Houses solo art exhibition will be kick off in Aug 6, meet and greet night 7-9pm.

The YEG Old Houses exhibition will be held between Aug 7 to Sept 25 every Thurs to Saturday I will be McLuhan House garage studio (11342 64 Street) from 1 to 4pm.

Houses were built within 1900s to 1930s

In the past 7 months, I was focus on complete the YEG Old Houses paintings project, researching and studying to find a right Edmonton historical houses in 7 mature neighborhoods.

As an visual artist, I was attracted historical house architectural & design, original and uniqueness. Since Edmonton became a city in1904. I discovered those houses drew my attention for this project were built among 1900s to 1930s.

After visited the field and take photos to share on my another IG @yegoldhouses for recording.

Summary

Honestly, without I finalize all previous decision I cannot move the next step to design “YEG Old Houses ” posters and postcards and printing.
